Louise Lawarre, GAPP’s executive director, was designated an Everyday Freedom Hero by the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and WCPO-TV. Lawarre’s ability to take action to protect and extend freedom, her efforts in speaking up, working for change and encouraging others to learn and grow will be archived among other honorees’ work at the Freedom Center.
