Anderson Churches for Racial Unity (ACRU) and Greater Anderson Promotes Peace (GAPP) meet monthly to plan programs and opportunities for the following year. All are welcome to join the planning team on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 PM at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1950 Nagel Rd, 45255. Our two organizations include members from several area religious communities and the broader civic community.

Together we strive to raise awareness among the residents of Anderson Township and surrounding areas regarding issues of racism, to promote inclusion, to encourage participation in solutions, and to build individual and congregational relationships between people of color and white people. We work to accomplish our mission through the presentation of guest speakers, film discussions, workshops, book studies, and entertainment.
