Dress Up, Speak Up:
Regalia and Resistance

Join GAPP and ACRU to visit the current art exhibit at 21C Hotel. This will be a guided tour as part of their regular docent-lead exploration of the amazing artwork. One of the many artists, Kehinde Wiley, was selected by President Obama to create his presidential portrait.

Regalia and Resistance
In this dazzling exhibit, acclaimed artists of color, including Kehinde Wiley and Nick Cave, redefine cultural visibility and illuminate the complexity of contemporary identity.

Saturday, March 14
1:00-2:30 PM (Please arrive a few minutes early to be ready to start the tour promptly.)
609 Walnut Street, Downtown Cincinnati

An optional visit to the Contemporary Arts Center next door will provide an opportunity to view a brand-new commission by Black artist Kahlil Robert Irving which is in the CAC lobby.

For travel to downtown, participants are welcome to drive themselves. An optional carpool is available from the parking lot of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1950 Nagel Road. It will leave promptly at 12:00 PM noon.
